The RP120 is a heavy duty perimeter seal. It is applied around a door to provide an airtight fit against wind and moisture coming in meanwhile preventing heating and cooling from seeping out through gaps. External doors use the RP120 as it is common that these doors have gaps that let air escape. Carpenter favour it for its easy installation process in addition to its effectiveness in a variety of different applications. Likewise, architects and designers admire the seal due to its minimalist look. The RP120 pairs well door bottom seals therefore creating a complete seal around the door.
Above all else, the RP120 is a simple, easy to install door seal that keeps air and water out of the house.
Location: Around metal or timber rebated frames of single and double butt hinged doors and windows.
Min/Max Gap: 3mm to 5.5mm.
Fixing: Aggressive self adhesive backing tape on both sides of the carrier.
Note: Contact surface must be clean, smooth and if painted, well cured. Self adhesive seals will not adhere to oiled or alkyd finishes or to easy clean wash and wear paint surfaces.
Seal: White co-extruded rigid and flexible flame retardant PVC.
Size: 1x 2000mm strip, 2x 2750mm strips – This size is common for a custom double leaf/French doors such as large patio doors.
