The RP150 is a heavy duty perimeter seal. It is designed to be used around door to provide an airtight fit against wind and moisture coming in and also preventing heating and cooling from seeping out through gaps. It is commonly used on external/entry doors that are easily susceptible to gaps not normal seen. It can also be fitted at a later stage after the door is hung which make it excellent for renovations and after market applications. It is favoured by carpenters and installers for its easy installation process and effectiveness in a variety of different applications and by designers and architects for it minimalist look. Location: Around rebated frames of single and double butt hinged doors and windows.
Min/Max Gap: 3mm to 5.5mm.
Fixing: Aggressive self adhesive backing tape on both sides of the carrier.
Note: Contact surface must be clean, smooth and if painted, well cured. Self adhesive seals will not adhere to oiled or alkyd finishes or to easy clean wash and wear paint surfaces.
Seal: Black co-extruded rigid and flexible flame retardant PVC.
Size: 1x 1000mm strip, 2x 2750mm strips – This size is common for bigger doors such as custom entry doors.
