The RP2 is a highly flexible versatile brush seal that can be used as both a door bottom seal and as a perimeter seal. The flexible brush ensures a smooth continues seal around the door even if the surface is uneven. Pivot doors pair well with the RP2 as they naturally have larger gaps. Therefore the seal can accommodate this. The RP2 rebates straight in a groove in the door resulting in an effective, durable seal.
The door will completely conceal the RP2 once it is install. There are no massive plates or screws to install. Many other door seals have a large plate or obtrusive covers. The RP2 is morticed in the side of the door and all you are left with is a discreet brush seal.
The groove should be double morticed to allow the brush to flex if the clearance is small.
Location: Stiles or bottom of single, double, sliding and double acting timber doors.
Min/Max Gap: Up to 19mm (user determined).
Fixing: Inserted into morticed groove (optional adhesive if required). The groove should be double morticed to allow the brush to flex if the clearance is small.
Seal: Black fine, dense, UV stabilised nylon filaments secured in a galvanised steel spine.
